NSA Electronic Log:

The NSA Electronic Log is designed to resemble the NSA Signing Agent Log. 

        

It has a GUI (Graphic User Interface) which the Notary uses to input closing specific information. This Information is inserted into an Excel  Spreadsheet that contains all the calculations needed to assist the Notary in preparing their taxes. 

The information is divided into individual monthly worksheets making the data easier to find and organize.  The data is automatically totaled per month.

The monthly totals are totaled into a Year to Date (YTD) worksheet with all tax related totals to date allowing you to see not only your progress from month to month but  your earning trends throughout the year.  You do not have to do a thing except enter your signings as they happen.

The NSA Electronic Log also takes into consideration:

Variable Notarial Fees (per State)

The Notary enters the value of Notarial fees in the Settings, indicating the rate for their state.

Variable Mileage Rates (dictated by the IRS and Input by  the Notary)

lThe Notary enters the current Mileage Rate in the Settings,
indicating the IRS published amount for tax purposes, if at some
point within the year this rate changes, the notary need only
change the setting in the NSA Electronic Log and the program
update all calculations in the monthly worksheets for the
remainder of the year starting with the current month.

llVariable Charging Methods (by Document or by Signers)

The Notary enters the method of charging in the Settings, indicating the method for their state.
 
Due to the nature of the calculations and worksheet labeling in Excel and the possibility of overwriting of the previous year’s data, the NSA Electronic Log program will require annual updates to the Excel Spreadsheet for $9.95.
